Week 1-4
Germination, Seedling, & Early Veg
In the first two weeks, the cannabis plant is in the baby stage called germination. In the first week, the seed opens up, and a tiny root comes out. Then, the first leaves start to show. The plant eats from its seed during this time. In the second week, the leaves grow a bit more, and the roots start to get stronger. The room should be warm and a bit humid, like a cozy home for the little plant. You'll see a really small plant with a few delicate leaves—kind of like a baby in the plant world. In the third and fourth week, she's still in the growing stage, with more leaves appearing and the plant getting a bit bigger. Visually, you'll notice a bigger and more robust plant compared to the baby days. It's like your plant is hitting its growth spurt!
Week 4-8
Veg & Pre Flower
Entering weeks 4-8, your cannabis plants are hitting the stride of vegetative growth and gearing up for the pre-flower stage. Expect a significant increase in size and bushiness as more leaves and branches develop. This phase is pivotal for building a strong foundation before the flowering stage. Keep a watchful eye for any signs of nutrient deficiencies or pests, addressing them promptly. As the weeks progress, you'll notice the formation of pre-flowers, small structures that indicate the imminent transition to flowering. Maintain a consistent watering schedule, and ensuring they receive ample light for a successful transition into the flowering phase.

In female plants, pre-flowers manifest as tiny, translucent, hair-like structures emerging from the leaf nodes where branches meet the main stem. These structures, known as pistils, eventually develop into the plant's buds.
For male plants, pre-flowers exhibit small, ball-shaped structures clustered around the leaf nodes. These are the early stages of pollen sacs, which later release pollen for fertilization.
maintaining a consistent watering schedule, and ensuring they receive ample light for a successful transition into the flowering phase.
Red House Seed Co. guarantees our seed is a female. If you notice male traits are present, pull the plant from the root and discard. Do this gently to prevent any pollen from being released and transferred to other plants.
Week 8-12
Flowering
Entering weeks 8-12 marks the flowering stage, a transformative period where your cannabis plants shift focus to bud production. This phase is characterized by the emergence of clusters of flowers. Expect a dramatic change in appearance as your plants prioritize bud development over further vegetative growth. The unmistakable aroma of cannabis will become more pronounced during this time, indicating the presence of oils and terpenes. Keep a keen eye on the trichomes using the 30x zoom included it the EZ Grow Kit.
Trichomes are small, hair-like structures on cannabis plants that evolve in appearance during the growth cycle. Initially clear, they become cloudy or milky in the flowering stage, indicating increased cannabinoid production. The presence of a few amber trichomes suggests peak maturity, the ideal time for harvest. Due to the unpredictability and beauty of nature, there are instances where trichomes on autoflowering plants may not transition to the amber stage.
Ensure your plants continue to receive ample light, proper nutrients, and a consistent watering schedule to support robust bud formation. As the weeks progress, your once-lush green plants will be adorned with the colorful and resinous fruits of your dedicated cultivation efforts
