01
Gather Materials
To complete this step, you will need:
Cannabis Seed
Forceps, tweezers or gloves
Plastic sandwich bag
Wetted paper towel
02
Wet Paper Towel
Place your paper towel in water until it is fully wet. Wring out the paper towel of excess water (it shouldn't drip). Set the wet paper towel aside.
03
Place Your Seed
Retrieve your cannabis seed being sure to handle it with forceps or gloved hands only, oils from your hands can harm the seed. Place a single seed on a wet paper towel. Secure the seed in the paper towel by folding the paper towel in half twice keeping the seed positioned in the inner most corner of the now folded paper towel.
Place the wet paper towel containing a single seed into a clean and unused plastic sandwich bag. Seal the sandwich bag allowing a pocket of air to exist within the bag so the seed can "breathe"

Out of sight, but not out of mind
Cannabis seed need a dark warm environment to germinate. Since we are trying to fool nature, it is very, very important that your chosen storage place is dark and climate controlled.
We prefer to pop our cannabis seeds in a top cabinet that is rarely accessed in our kitchen.
We recommend checking your seed every 12 hours. You are looking for a tiny sprout emerging from the seed.
Don't check too often!
Remember your cannabis seed germinates in the dark and frequent exposure to light can send the wrong message to your seed.
Continue to check the seed every 12 hours until it has 'popped'. Autoflowering plants are very sensitive, you only want the seed to crack, you do not want to let the taproot extend.
